Thoughtful, Strategic Support — Whether You’re Navigating Motherhood or Simply Feeling Overwhelmed

Crystal Clear Strategies was built with a heart for maternal mental health — offering specialized support for women navigating pregnancy, trying to conceive, postpartum, and the many identity shifts that come with motherhood. This season can be beautiful and overwhelming all at once, and you don’t have to sort through it alone.

While maternal mental health is my primary focus, I also provide virtual therapy for adults across North Carolina experiencing anxiety, burnout, mood changes, and life transitions. My approach blends genuine connection with practical, evidence-based strategies to help you feel clearer, steadier, and more confident in your next steps.

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy provides a dedicated space to focus on your unique experiences, challenges, and goals. Life’s transitions—especially those connected to motherhood, relationships, or personal expectations—can sometimes feel overwhelming to navigate alone. In individual therapy, we work together to explore what you're experiencing, build greater clarity, and develop practical strategies that support your emotional well-being.

  • Individual counseling may be a good fit if you are:

    • Navigating pregnancy, postpartum changes, or the transition into motherhood

    • Feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, or constant overthinking

    • Experiencing burnout or emotional exhaustion

    • Adjusting to major life transitions or identity shifts

    • Wanting a private space to process challenges and develop practical coping strategies

Whether you’re facing a specific concern or simply feeling stuck, therapy offers a supportive place to slow down and work toward meaningful change.

  • Individual sessions provide a collaborative and supportive environment where we can explore what’s most important to you.

    Sessions typically include:

    • One-on-one virtual meetings conducted through a secure telehealth platform

    • A supportive space to explore your thoughts and emotions

    • Practical tools and evidence-based strategies

    • Collaborative goal-setting and reflection

    • A pace that respects your comfort and readiness for change

Together, we focus on helping you feel more grounded, confident, and clear about your next steps.

  • Individual therapy allows for personalized support tailored specifically to your needs.

Many clients find that individual counseling helps them:

    • Gain clarity and insight into their experiences

    • Develop healthier coping strategies

    • Improve emotional balance and resilience

    • Strengthen boundaries and communication

    • Feel more confident navigating life’s challenges

Group Therapy

There is something powerful about realizing you’re not alone in what you’re feeling. Group therapy brings together individuals who may be facing similar challenges and creates a supportive space for honest conversation, shared understanding, and practical growth. Many participants find that the encouragement, perspective, and connection that develop within a group can be incredibly meaningful and empowering.

CCS offers open and closed group sessions. Open groups are recurring and welcome new members at any time. These groups offer more long-term support and fresh perspectives as people come in and out. Closed groups have a set number/group for a specific amount of time. These groups are short-term and provide more close-knit support. While the structures may differ, both types of groups can be very effective.

  • Group counseling can be a helpful option for individuals who:

    • Feel isolated in their experiences and want connection with others

    • Are navigating similar life transitions, such as motherhood or major life changes

    • Want to learn practical strategies for managing stress, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm

    • Value shared perspectives and support from others facing similar challenges

    • Are open to learning and growing alongside others in a supportive environment

Groups are thoughtfully facilitated to ensure a respectful and welcoming space for everyone involved.

  • Group sessions are designed to be structured, supportive, and collaborative. Participants are encouraged to share at their own pace while also learning from the experiences of others.

    During sessions, you can expect:

    • Small, confidential groups

    • Guided discussion and reflection

    • Opportunities to share experiences and perspectives

    • Practical tools and strategies for everyday life

    • Support and encouragement from both the facilitator and other participants

There is never pressure to share more than you feel comfortable with, and many people find that listening and learning from others can be just as valuable.

  • Group counseling offers several unique benefits, including:

    • Realizing you are not alone in your experiences

    • Learning from the insights and perspectives of others

    • Practicing new communication and coping skills

    • Building a sense of connection and community

    • Gaining encouragement and accountability in a supportive setting

Many participants find that group therapy complements individual counseling or serves as a meaningful step toward greater connection and emotional wellbeing.

  • Group Sessions will cover various topics including, but not limited to:

    • Trying to Conceive

    • Prenatal and postpartum Mental Health

    • Perimenopause and Menopause transitions
